Rajeev Natarajan has been associated with the TAO gharana since 2012 and is currently a consultant with TAO.
He currently leads a mid-level managerial-level TAO offering for the largest software services firm in the world – and anchors design, deployment, and delivery of this programme to cover over 2500 managers annually.
He’s certified in life and executive coaching and the EUM assessment tools for both individual and organizations from TAO Leadership Academy and enjoys working in various organization spaces - from small businesses, non-profits, and large multi-nationals - in exploring “how can we be the best that we can be”. In these explorations, he enjoys contexts where the exploration centres around both new product innovation and long-term sustainable excellence of organizations.
Rajeev has an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Kerala and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland where he specialized in signal processing and communication engineering.
He started his career in 2000 in software services alongside his Master’s programme. He was one of the founding programme officers at IIT Madras as part of an incubation initiative focussed on technology-for-social-change. He then went on to start a company focussed in offering VoIP-related solutions to MSMEs in India. Post an acquisition by another small firm, he moved to head their software services and KPO-tech. And then went on to, most recently, head R&D and product development in advanced analytics for a global market research firm.
In the latter part of his career, for a period of 5 years, when the tech and TAO worlds came together, he worked to bring in the TAO methodologies and the TAO “vision of an organization” model in his areas of work.
He’s currently an intern at Sumedhas: an intensive programme of self – exploration and working with groups – a valuable preparatory ground for meaningful organization development consulting through process facilitation
He also co-founded the first non-profit organic food store in Chennai in 2009 that continues to offer a wide variety of groceries, fruits, vegetables at prices affordable to a wide cross-section of people.
